Thomas is the fourth child of Nehemiah Beardsley and Laura Giddings Northrup, Fulton, Oswego Co. NY. His brother James Northrop, #56222360 b. 1 Sep 1829 in Fulton, Oswego Co. NY d. 30 May 1857, Portland, OR and Nehemiah Northrop #56215332 b. 22 Aug 1833, Fulton, NY d. 13 Feb 1863, Portland, Oregon are also buried in Section 1, Lot 90, Lone Fir Pioneer Cemetery.
