Services For Guy Fillmore Monday

Guy Fillmore, 67, a resident of the city for 46 years, died at 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 320 North Broadwell avenue. Mr. Fillmore had been in failing health for six weeks. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.

Born in smith county, Kansas, Jan. 23, 1877, to Charles and Georgia Fillmore, Guy Fillmore attended school and attained manhood in the community of his birth.

When he was 21 years old, the family came to this city to establish its home. During his residence here, Mr. Fillmore had practiced at his trade as a painter and decorator. He had made his home in Broadwell avenue for 10 years.

Surviving are a brother, Ray Fillmore, this city. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fillmore, two brothers, Ira and Fay Fillmore, and a sister, Ada, preceded him in death.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon in the Livingston-Sondermann funeral home. The Rev. William Hubbard, pastor of the Methodist church, will conduct the rites. Burial will be in the family space in Grand Island cemetery.
