Wilbur Ray Filmore, resident of Grand Island for the past 40 years, died this morning in a local hospital at the age of 73. The family home is at 302 East North Front. Mr. Fillmore was a retired Union Pacific employe. He was born May 8, 1880, at Smith Center, Kan., to Charles and Georgia Fillmore.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; a son, Raymond W. Fillmore, of Grand Island; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Hruza of Grand Island, and Mrs. J. H. Christensen, Vallejo, Calif.; one grandchild; four great grandchildren; and other relatives. Funeral arrangements are indefinite pending word from relatives. The Geddes Funeral Home is in charge.
