Girvous Browning, age 91 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Friday morning, April 13, 2012 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs. Remains are at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.


Funeral Services for Girvous Browning will be conducted Sunday afternoon, April 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with E. C. Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Chapel Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation with the family will begin Saturday 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. The Family requests that you make your memorials to the Macon County Terminal Illness Fund or the Red Boiling Springs Library. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Sandra & Wayne Newberry, son & daughter-in-law, James & Jo Ann Browning, granddaughter, Lora (Jack) Rice all of Red Boiling Springs, grandsons, Jeff (Tyece) Newberry, Cadiz, KY, Brian (Glenda) Newberry, Lebanon, Eric (Susan) Newberry, Lafayette, Derrick (Sarah) Browning, La Vergne, great-grandchildren, Emily, Morgan, Cody, Madison, Kaylee and Trey Newberry, Megan Rice, Dexter Browning, brother & sister-in-law, Kenneth & Kate Browning, Indianapolis, IN.
