TORREY-John W. Allen, a pioneer of Wayne County, passed away last week at a Salt Lake Hospital. His illness has been a lingering one. The funeral was held at Loa Friday. A large crowd was in attendance and a number of relatives from various distances were present. The hall was wonderfully decorated with flowers. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Grace Fordham Allen, and a number of children, most of whom are married, and several brothers and sisters. Interment was in the Loa Cemetery.12 12
