MRS. MARY HARMON DIES AT WARRENSBURG
Mrs. Mary Harmon, aged 82, widow of the late J. L. Harmon, passed away this
morning at one o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. P. Everhart
near Warrensburg. Her death was caused from a paralytic stroke which she
suffered ten days ago while at the dinner table. She immediately became
unconscious and rallied only once before her death.

Funeral services will be held from the old Harmon home near Midway, which
is now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Emet Lyon, tomorrow afternoon at two
o'clock. the officiating minister will be the Rev. L. A. Wertz, pastor of
the Lutheran Church of this city and the Rev. S. W. Berry, pastor of the
Lutheran Church at Mosheim. Burial will take place in Harmon cemetery.
The body will be moved to the old home this afternoon.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Suda McDonald of near Rogersville, Mrs.
Cordia Ailshie of near Midway, Mrs. Medra Everhart of near Warrensburg, Mrs.
Flora Laughner of Whitestown, Ind., Mrs. Bessie Everhart, Mrs. Cora Lyon
and three sons, A. J. Harmon of West Point, Miss., J. I. Harmon of Mohawk
and Elmer Harmon of Greeneville. Also one brother, J. P. Bible near Midway,
twenty-three grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. One son, C. N.
Harmon preceded her in death over two years ago.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Flower girls will be granddaughters.

Mrs. Harmon, the daughter of the late Isaac and Sally Kinser Bible, was
born and reared near Sinking Springs. When very young she professed faith
in Christ and joined the Sinking Springs Church and was a faithful member until her marriage, when she moved her membership to Mosheim.
She was married to Mr. J. L. Harmon who passed away twenty years ago,
leaving her the responsibility of a family of twelve children. She was a
kind and devoted mother, laboring unceasingly for her family and has indeed gone to receive her reward. Her many friends and admirers will learn with regret of her passing.
