JOHN P. ALLEE, 84, OF IBERIA, DIES
Funeral services were held at the Curry church last Thursday for John Patrick Alice, 84, of Iberia. Mr. Allee died Aug. 26, at Humphrey's Hospital in Tuscumbia. Mr. Allee, the son of Nathaniel and Mary Alice, was bom April 29, 1873, at California, Mo. He had lived in Miller County since he was 11 years of age. On May 9, 1897, he was married to Lucy Jane Colvin, who survives. They were the parents of three children. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lottie Wall of Iberia, and two sons, Ora of Wilmington, Calif, and Emery of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Hader of Eldon, and Mrs. Artie Nichols of Noweta, Okla.; two brothers, Horace of Stoutland and William of the state of California; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. William F. Jones officiated at the funeral services. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of the Hedges Funeral Home of Iberia.
