Obit: Old Pioneer Dead
Peter Rank, one of the pioneer settlers of Francis Creek, died Monday after an illness of several months, from disease which he had been a sufferer for three years, aged 77. Mr. Rank is survived by an aged widow and a family of eight children. Also four brothers and one sister, Frank and Jacob of Brillion, John of Sturgeon Bay, Louis of Manitowoc and Mrs. Maggie Framm of Iowa. He was born in 1833 and came to Manitowoc county while yet a young man and engaged in farming. The funeral was held Thursday from St. Anne's church. Those attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rank, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rank, Mrs. Peter Rank and Mrs. Jac. Blau. Brillion News - July 8, 1910 Manitowoc Herald
