Elvie S. Potter, 55, died at his home in Shells Bush last night after an illness of five months.
He was born in 1875 and 34 years ago married Miss Jennie Helmer, who survives with four children, Clark E., Utica; Mrs. Ira Vedder, Herkimer; Raymond and Elsie, Shells Bush; three grandchildren; two brothers, L. C. Potter and Rastus Potter, Herkimer, and a sister, Mrs. Allie McKeever, also of Herkimer.
He was a member of the Shells Bush Grange and the Maccabees of Herkimer. ... interment in Oak HIll Cemetery.
