Mary Lee Murphy was born in Whitley Co. Kentucky. She moved to Oklahoma with her parents when a small child where her father homesteaded near Temple, OK. She married Ralph Edward Stone in 1884 and they had seven children together. About six years ago she came to Sulphur to make her home where she was a member of the Baptist church.
