Mrs. Rose Clark Workman, 93 years old of Alhambra, California and formerly of Glen Allen, died Sunday, February 26, 1984 at Alhambra. She was born October 4, 1890 in Texas, daughter of Uriah and Nancy (Lay) Murphy.
She first married Lowry Clark 23/Dec/1906 at Comanche Co., Ok . He died in 1946.
She married Wayne Workman 02/Aug/1948 at Richland Co., MT. He died in 1966.
Mrs. Workman was a member of the Bankston, IL Baptist Church.
Surviving is one son, Thomas Clark of Denver, CO; one daughter, Mrs. Maybelle Evans of Alhambra, CA; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Henry and Cecil, preceded her in death.
Graveside service was Thursday in Glen Allen Cemetery. Ward-Liley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
