He is said to be the son of Robert Knowles 25 Apr 1726 in Scotland to 26 Apr 1792 in Duplin County, NC and Elizabeth Williams, born 1765 and died aft 1792. I do not have hard evidence to back this claim up, but dates, census and relationships lead me to be about 90% sure that these are his parents.
Washington Knowles (Knoles, Noles) married Nancy McDonald. He died in Columbia County, FL, but his burial location is unknown to me at this time. Most likely buried beside his wife.
