Brittney M. Ward, age 18, of Lewisburg, OH, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Dayton following an auto accident in Preble County.
Brittney was a senior at Tri-County North High School and Miami Valley Career Technology Center where she was an Allied Health Technologies Tech Prep student. She had worked at the Diamond Pet Resort and McDonalds and was working as a STNA at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Brittney was active in the TCN Band, cross country, track, golf, karate and enjoyed horseback riding. Preceded in death by her Grandmothers: Verene Ward and Sara Combs.
Survived by her Mother & Step-Father: Annette E. & Howard D. Combs; Brother: Ryan Combs and Sister: Ashley Combs, all of Lewisburg; Grandparents: Ira Ward, Dayton, OH and Branson Combs, Leesburg, FL; Aunts and Uncles: Cathy and James Ward, Clayton, OH, Lisa and Steven Ward, Dayton, OH and Teresa and George Combs, Brookville, OH. Numerous cousins. Special friends: Allison Macy and Caitlin Davis and a host of friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 3147 U.S. Rt. 40 East, Lewisburg, OH with Pastor Jeff Ginter officiating. Interment will be held in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the church.
