Headon Crash Kills 1; 2 Hurt
Manitowoc County's 17th traffic fatality of the year was recorded Sunday night when a 23-year-old Sheboygan County man died of head injuries sustained in a two-car crash on Highway 141 in the Town of Centerville.
Ronald R. Sohn of 114 S. Pershing St., Howard's Grove, was pronounced dead at the scene by Manitowoc County Coroner James E. Powers. The crash occurred just south of Cleveland in the southeast corner of Manitowoc County.
Sohn's vehicle was southbound on Highway 141 at 9:03 p.m. when it hit the west shoulder and swerved back onto the roadway. It then crossed the centerline,
crashing headon into a northbound car driven by (omitted).
The Sohn vehicle continued on for 94 feet, coming to rest on the west shoulder.
The (omitted) vehicle continued on for 26 feet, coming to rest on the east shoulder…
They were removed to Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, by Manitowoc Ambulance Service…
