Robert A. Clark, 91, of Everett, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2011 with his family at his side.

He was born November 14, 1919 in Bedford Township a son of the late J. William Clark and Minnie (Lawrence) Clark.

On January 27, 1944 in Cumberland, he married Orpha W. "Patricia" (Evans) Clark who passed away on January 16, 1997.

He is survived by their son, Carl H. Clark, and wife Loretta (Bordonaro) Clark of Valrico, Florida; a granddaughter Erin Johnson, of Tampa; a grandson David Clark, of New York; a great-grandchild; a sister, Mary E. Ronco, of Miami; and 3 brothers, Frank B. Clark, and wife Norma (Betts) Clark, of Ellerslie, Maryland; Ed E. Clark, and wife Margie (Hunt) Clark, of Bedford, and Maynard Clark, of Palm Beach.

He was preceded in passing away by 3 sisters, Jean Heaton, Dorothy Vital, and Jessie Skurcenski and 2 brothers, John Clark and Joe Clark.

Mr. Clark was a lifelong member of the Wolfsburg United Methodist Church and a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1938. After graduation, he was employed as a mill worker at Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown, later serving in the United States Army Air Force during World War II as a Staff Sergeant with the B-24 Liberator Bomber Group in Italy, flying 50 operational missions in Vienna, Munich, Innsbrook, Lenz, and Friedrikshaffen, Germany.

After service to his country, Bob attended Barber School in Johnstown and the Geneva College in Beaver Falls where he earned his teaching degree. He then began his career in education at the West Providence Elementary School where he was a 6th grade teacher and school Principal for over 20 years, including the Calhoun School and was coach for the Everett Area High School Wrestling team.

He was a skilled golfer who enjoyed playing the sport with his wife Pat, and was a kind and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Pastor Vicki Jordon officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Friday from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.

Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Everett Honor Guard.
