It appears that he was first married to Susanna Good and had the following children:
Catherine Crist (1801-1883)
Susannah Kunce (1807-1876)
Julia Delvin Whitestine (1809-1867)
Andrew T. (1810-1841)
Nancy Emrick Hullibarger (1812-1880)
Samuel Read (~1815-1875)
David Ream (1823-

Susanna must have died. It appears that Jacob then married Rachel, who was alive at the time of his death. They had the following children:
Jacob (1821-1897)
David (1824-
Joseph G. (1826-1897)
William (1829-after 1893 in California?)

Most of the children moved to Huntington Co., IN.

Rachel was a widow before Oct. 1831
