Catherine (Eddleman) Stanfield is the daughter of David Eddleman and Elizabeth (Adams) Eddleman.

She was the wife of James M. Stanfield. They were married on March 18, 1870 in Notausulga, Alabama and had at least nine or more children together by their marriage:

(1) Mary Adeline Stanfield (12 Jan 1844 AL - 09 Feb 1930 AL), she married Henry Clay Roberts.

(2) Sarah Ann Elizabeth Stanfield (14 Feb 1829 GA - 12 Nov 1908 GA), she married James H. Bozeman.

(3)William Monroe Stanfield (1830 - 1896 AL), he married Mary Ann Silman.

(4) James Madison Stanfield (16 Sep 1832 - 06 Aug 1903)
