Final rites for Mrs. Agnes Bohac, 70, were held from the Triska Chapel in Needville Friday morning, followed by requiem mass at the St. Michael's Catholic Church, with Rev. Gilbert Pekar officiating.
Mrs. Bohac was born in Czechoslovakia on November 10, 1888. In 1907, she came to America and settled in Granger where she married Ignac Bohac. In 1918, they moved to the Fairchild Community where she resided at the time of her death following a heart attack. She was a member of the Needville K.J.Z.T. Society.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, John of Fairchild and Theofil of Sweeny; one daughter, Mrs. O.W. Powell of Needville; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Frank Dudek of Chicago, Ill.; and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Kubala of Corn Hill, Mrs. Jane Kalinec of Needville, Mrs. Anna Gajewski of Richmond, Mrs. Tonie Chmelik of Needville, and Mrs. Barbara Vacek of Rosenberg.
Pallbearers were Joe Kneitz, Frank Jurca, Joe V. Vacek, John Kulcak, Raymond Horak, and Richard Stavinoha.
Interment was made in the St. Michael Cemetery in Needville.
