The birth and death dates on the small metal plaque in the cemetery are incorrect. Her death was announced in the March 25, 1943 Daily Republic in Mitchell, SD. Mary Frances was a school teacher and played the piano and organ. She wrote poems and published them in a family book. She had 10 children.
