Carl (Butch) Axt, 67, of RR 1, Hudson, Lake of the Woods, died at 3:30 pm yesterday where he had been a patient three months.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the St Joe Athletic Club.

Surviving are his wife, Gertrude, and a brother, Chester, Rome City.

Friends may call after 7 pm today at DO McComb & Sons Funeral Home. Services willbe at 1 pm Friday in the funeral home, the Rev Clarence Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Fort Wayne Journal Gazette - December 18, 1968
