WHO WAS SON BENJAMIN WILSON CLARK II MARRIED TO?
I have seen one date for the marriage of Benjamin Wilson Clark II being 28 Dec. 1772. However, some say that Benjamin (1756-1829; LJTS-S76) was married to Frances Ragsdale (1755-1825; LRGN-1KB) in about 1821. Therefore Frances would have been about 56 when she married Benjamin (55 years old), if the later date is accurate. Records say Benjamin was 73 when he died about 8 years later. And, if this is true, it is difficult to believe that Benjamin and Frances together had any children; at least not as many as listed on the Family Search site and in the note below. Also, it is possible that Benjamin was married previously which could account for the 1772 date. One possible person who may have been Benjamin's first wife was a Jane Mullins (no further information at this time).
