Garland Lowell Kitchen, 90, of Ironton, passed away Friday April 6, 2012 at Saint Mary,s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. The Dennis, Kentucky native was born July 20, 1921 the son of the Greene and Samantha Tiller Kitchen.
He was the widower of Beatrice Osborne Kitchen.
Garland attended Lawrence County, KY Schools. He was a U.S.Army WWII Veteran and he retired after 45 years as a Truck Driver for Matlack INC. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Garland is survived by;
son; Charlie Kitchen of Ironton;
step-daughter; Charlotte Williams of Ironton.
