Jean K. Thompson, 81, formerly of 2442 Pleasant Ridge Road, Wooster, died Friday, Mar 11 at Wooster community Hospital. Mrs. Thompson was born Feb 22, 1913 in Louisa, a daughter of Green and Samantha Kitchen. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Geoffrey Lentz; her second husband, Sim Thompson; 6 brothers and sisters and 2 grandchildren. She was a self-employed paper hanger and attended Freewill Baptist Church in Louisa. The funeral was conducted Monday, Mar 14 at Custer Funeral Home, Wooster, with Rev. Wm. H. Valentine officiating. Burial was in Apple Creek Cemetery. Surviving are 3 daughters, Zella Jean Barrett of New Carlisle, OH, Louella Allen and Betty Ann Scott, both of Wooster; 5 grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; a brother, Garland Kitchen of Ironton, OH and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Fish of Fairmont, WV.
