BETHANY: Betty Lippert, 81 years young, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away November 8, 2011. She was born on August 2, 1930 in Oklahoma City to the late Raymond and Irene Kienlen. She was baptized on September 20, 1931 and confirmed in faith on June 11, 1944.
She married Leo K. Lippert, the love of her life, on August 25, 1950, and they enjoyed 61 years together. Betty was dedicated to her church and a wonderful homemaker and caregiver to her family. Antiquing, china painting and baking were among her favorite pastimes. She was loved by many and will always be remembered by her family, extended family and friends. She was an angel on earth to all who knew her and will now be an angel in heaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mildred Botchlet. Betty is survived by her husband, Leo Lippert; three children, Marsha Powers and husband Pat, L. Ken Lippert, Jr., and Mark Lippert; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be on Friday, November 11th, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. The funeral service will be at 10am, Saturday, November 12th at Messiah Lutheran Church with interment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Messiah Lutheran Church.
