Alyssa Ann Calaway, "Good Girl," 8, our darling angel, went home to be in the arms of Jesus on Sept. 12, 2002.

Alyssa was a student at the Mogadore Christian Academy. She was born and lived her life in Akron, and was a member of THE CHAPEL, where she was a member of the children's choir, the Living Fountain Ballet Company of the church, and the Pioneer Girl's Club.

She is survived by her parents, Stephen D. and Sarah E. Calaway of Akron; brother, Stephen D. Calaway II of Akron; grandparents, David and Mary Homsher of Tallmadge, Dennis and Cheryl Calaway of Tallmadge; great-grandparents, Glenn and Louise Wasson of Brimfield, Lee Calaway of Akron, George and Janice White of Cuyahoga Falls; aunts and uncles, David and Kim Homsher of Rootstown, Laura and Kyle Krstolic of Akron, Brian and Carrie Thomas of Brimfield; cousins, David Homsher III and Luke William Thomas; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday at THE CHAPEL, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, Ohio 44304, Pastor Knute Larson and Pastor James Mitchell officiating. Burial at Tallmadge Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church Monday. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be given to the children's ministry of THE CHAPEL
