Last Services for Mrs. Barrow
Mrs. Ardis M. Barrow, 641 North Kenilworth, a resident of Oak Park for 32 years, who was active in many organizations here, died Sunday in her home, after an illness of six months.
A native of Iowa, Mrs. Barrow was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She was a member and active worker of First Congregation church for many years. She was an active member of the Nineteenth Century Woman's club. Infant Welfare Circle 7, the Drama league and Oak Park-River Forest auxiliary to Chicago Commons, along with a number of other philanthropic interests.
Survivors are her husband, Franklin; two sons, John F., of the home address, and Charles H. Barrow of Oak Park, and a grandson, John Scott.
Funeral services were conducted yesterday from Haggard chapel to First Congregational church, with the Rev. Fred Hoskins officiating. Interment was at Forest Home.
