"Leroy Vanderhoff, 63, of Spartansburg, RD 2, died Saturday at 7 am in Union City Hospital. He was born in Townville, Oct 25, 1904, the son of James R and Adelia Simmons Vanderhoff. In May, 1925, he married the former Jenny B Anthony at Pleasantville, who survives. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs Arlene Denham of Tallmadge, Ohio; two sons - Leon Vanderhoff of Centerville, RD 1, and Hubert E Vanderhoff of Spartansburg, RD 3; three brothers - James Vanderhoff of Centerville, RD 2, Guy Vanderhoff of Corry and Clarence Vanderhoff of Spartansburg, RD 3; three sisters - Mrs Myrtle Higby of Corry, Mrs Mabel Stockton of Erie and Mrs Amelia Wiengard of McKeesport; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Three children died previously. Friends may call at the family residence, Spartansburg, RD 2, today and Tuesday and attend the funeral service there Wednesday with Rev Earl Anthony of Church of Jesus Christ in God officiating. Interment will be in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery, arrangements by the Willis E Tracy Home of Funerals."
