Lillie was born on July 6, 1919, in Duplissis, Louisiana, the daughter of Arthur Roscoe and Ida Elizabeth Daigle Edmonston. She married Marvin Sylvester Hacker on July 3, 1939, in Waverly, Texas. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 2010.
Lillie is also survived by one son, Marvin Warren (Betty Alice) Hacker; one daughter, Maureen Janice "Marty" (Herman) Wibben; one brother, Murphy Edmonston; two sisters, Agnes Evans and Ida Elizabeth Roddy; six precious grandchildren, Gregory (Dawn) Wibben, Cale (Sarah) Wibben, Lori (Cass) Benner, Robbyn (David) Adlesman, Marvin (Cheri) Hacker and Clinton (Rebecca) Hacker and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hacker was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. Lillie was an excellent seamstress and loved needle work; she had a passion for gardening, flowers, fishing and playing bridge. She lived in Houston, TX, Glen Ellyn, IL and Brazoria, TX prior to moving to Lincoln.
Services for Mrs. Hacker will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 12:00 noon at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, with Rev. Simon Taabu officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Friends of The River- San Bernard, Brazoria, TX.
