SANTA FE Alton B. "Pat" Edmonston, 66, of Santa Fe, passed away Thursday, August 20,1996, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 3, 1996, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City with Rev. Fred Millard officiating.

Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. "Visitation will be Monday, September 2, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr.

Edmonston was born March 22, 1930, in Gonzales, Louisiana. He was a retired painter for Painter's Local No. 585 and had served his country in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife Voricile Enfinger Edmonston; sons, Tracy and Alan Edmonston; stepsons, Ernest Ray, Willie and Joseph Randall Enfinger; daughter, Jackie Garner, step-daughters, Ibni Anders and Alisa Moody; brother, Murphy Edmonston; sisters, Agnes Brown, Lillie Hacker and Wanda Gail Richardson; and 15 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Santa Fe Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, P.O. Box 452, Santa Fe, Texas 77517. Emken-Linton Funeral Home.
