AMBROSE - Mrs. Velma Young Carver, 76, died Tuesday at Coffee Regional Hospital after a short illness.The Coffee County native was a member of Trinity Non-denominational Church.Surviving are five sons, Milton Carver of Willacoochee, J. T. Carver of Starke, Fla., C. A. "Buddy" Carver of Douglas, and Vernon and Denny Carver, both of Ambrose; five daughters, Mrs. Wilma Spivey of Ambrose, Mrs. Oda Morgan and Mrs. Geneva Sprouse, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Nadine Lawson of Huntsville, Ala., and Mrs. Grace Collins of Douglas; a brother, T. E. Young of Jacksonville, Fla.; her stepmother, Mrs. Ida Young of Eustis, Fla.; 29 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
