Larkin Wade ranched in Knox County for a number of years, located in the southwest part of the county, where the little town of Grace now stands. He moved to Knox County with his parents in the spring of 1886. He moved to Howard County following his marriage. Survivors include his wife; four married daughters; three grandchildren, one sister - Mrs. J.T. House of Benjamin, who is the last living member of this pioneer family.
