Death certificate gave 13 DEC 1883 as DOB, but most likely was a mere guess.

Occupation: Farmer

MO d/c 40151

FRANK LOWE
Frank Lowe died at his home on the Capps farm, east of the Hale school, last Sunday. About seven weeks ago he was operated on for appendicitis and from this he never recovered, hovering the last ten days between life and death.
He was married a year ago last January to Miss Louisa Johnson. She and a 10 months old baby remains to mourn him, besides father, mother, two brothers and one sister. He would have been 28 years old in a few days. The Odd Fellows and the Woodmen had charge of the funeral services which took place yesterday from the residence, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Shelbina Cemetery.
Frank was a patient and uncomplaining sufferer. All that four doctors and a nurse could do to avert the end, was done, but the grim reaper won the battle. The young wife and other relatives have our deep sympathy.
