PLAINVIEW - Mary Appling Davis, 81, died Saturday, May 15, 2004.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Max Browning officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis was born Aug. 7, 1922, in Ellis County. She married Dr. Jeff H. Davis on Sept. 2, 1947.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Susan Macrum and Cindy Graham, both of San Antonio; a son, Brian Jeff Davis of San Antonio; a sister, Elouise Jones of Lubbock; three brothers, Pat Appling of Lubbock, Don Appling of Plainview and Jon Appling of Kerrville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church.
