Vernice was born to parents Frank Maxiner 1853-1915 and Marie Dailey 1854-1914 both buried in Riverside Cemetery in Gouverneur New York. Vernice's first marriage was to Ernest J. Savage of Saint Lawrence County, New York on 3/9/1915, Children of this marriage were Richard, Clarence, Murray and Milton. Vernice and Ernest divorced in 1922 and she remarried in 1922 to Clinton W. Masters 1888-1966 of New York and had 2 children, Samuel C. Masters 1922-1988 & Amelia Masters 1927-1928. It is believed that Vernice & Clinton moved to Columbus Georgia in 1957. Vernice died of a Cerebral Hemorrhage at 5:15pm on 2/12/1959 after two days stay in in a Medical Center.
