Jerry Michael Smith, age 44, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Smith was born September 9, 1967, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Mr. Smith was reared and educated in both Tuscaloosa, and Fordyce, Arkansas, graduating from Fordyce High School in 1985.
He moved back to Pine Bluff in 2011. Upon moving to Pine Bluff, he attended the Double Wells Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Smith is survived by his parents, Jerry Edward and Clara Clark Smith; a daughter, Melissa Smith of Russellville, Arkansas; sisters, Angela Marie Tipton of Tuscaloosa and Tina Marie Valentine of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a niece, Kristina Sanford of Tuscaloosa and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as a host of close friends that will miss him dearly.
