Ellen Watkins, age 76, of OKC, passed away March 28, 2012. She was born September 17, 1935, in OKC to William & Dolly Merrell. Ellen is survived by five children: Nancy Filippo & husband Doyle of Choctaw; Mable Johnson & husband Billy of OKC; Robert Watkins of OKC; Jesse Watkins & wife Regina Eaton of OKC; Clifford Merrell of MWC; granddaughter she raised, Lulu Watkins & husband Chris Johnson of OKC; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; twin sister, Ellie Davilla of OKC; sister, Billie Ann Morris of OKC; brother, Frankie Merrell & wife Rosie of OKC; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy; siblings: Chester, Bobby and Jesse Merrell; Alvin and Alan Perry; Roselee Smith; Lillian Morris; Lilly May Merrell; and Juliann Kirkwood.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel in Moore. Interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
