Mrs. Margaret Riddle Cooper of 412 Levelin St., died Tuesday at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Mitchell County, NC, she had lived in Erwin for the past 7 years.
Surviving are four sons- Burl, Fred and Hubert Cooper, all of Erwin; R.A. Cooper of Kingsport, TN and four daughters- Mrs. Oscar Johnson, Mrs. C.C. Slagle, both of Erwin, Mrs. W.M. Cook of Baskerville, NC and Mrs. Grover McHenry of West Chester, PA. *Source- The Erwin Record, Nov. 7, 1962, Page 6
