Susan (Sailors) Asher, widow of James E. Asher, daughter of William Sailors and Nancy (Cox) Sailors, former Martinsville resident, died at home at Covington, Kentucky due to complications of diseases.
Funeral services held on Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter Iva Maude (Asher) Free and son in law, George M. Free on South Sycamore street. Rev. Ray H. Montgomery, pastor of the Christian Church in charge, and burial in South Park.
Grandson Dr. H. O. Burgett, Martinsville, and sisters, Mrs Adam Howe, Mrs Samuel Robbins of Indianapolis and brother G. W. Sailors of Martinsville also survive her.
