Raack, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Croghan) fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Monday, March 26, 2012, at the age of 84. Daughter of Michael Joseph and Edna Moran Croghan. Beloved wife of William J. Raack; dear mother of Carol (Kin) Watkins, David, Connie (Ken) Leinauer, Cindy (Peter) Ott, Bill (Kim Bettisworth), and Pete (Melissa).; loving Grammie of Chris and Tim Watkins, Dillon and Nathan Raack, Dan, Patrick, Beth (Rob) Boland and Matt Leinauer, Alexandra and Jay Ott, Gibson and Finley Raack and Cori and Sophie Raack; dear sister of the late Michael Joseph Jr. (Mary Alice), the late Alicia Jaeger (late Frank), the late Mariam Fenwick (late Robert), Matthew (late Delly), the late Vincent (Marianne), the late John Julian (late Phyllis), the late Gloria Newbold (Luke), Daniel (Mary Ann), Robert (Patricia) and Nancy Prendergast (late Dick); dear sister-in-law of Patricia Raack Dorsey; dear aunt and friend to many. Generous thanks to her wonderful caregivers including Diane, Teresa, Barb, Tonya and Nan. Betty was a vibrant lady who lived a full life, full of infectious laughter, song, and infinite patience (especially with those she taught to sew at Eunice Farmer for many years). She will be so missed and remembered daily for her radiance, sense of humor and love of chocolate. Services: Visitation will be held at 9AM, Monday, April 2, 2012, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 12 West Glendale Rd., 63119, prior to a 10AM funeral Mass. Interment immediately following the Mass at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. Contributions to the St. Louis chapter of the Alzheimer's Association appreciated, 9370 Olive Blvd.
