Beloved husband and best friend of Mary Ann (Lugge); dear father of Denise (Frank) Runco, Donna (Dan) Richardson, Dan (Annette) Croghan, Diana Croghan, Doug (Katie) Croghan. Cherished grandfather of Tom, Dan, Nicole, (Ryan) Runco; Jennifer, Kevin, Mitchell, Dan Richardson; Dan, Kate, Colin Croghan; Alison, Elizabeth, Derek, Joseph Stoehner; Jack, Maddie, Will Croghan. Preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings, dearest brother, brother-in-law, uncle, mentor and friend to many.

Dan was a long time coach and teacher, avid golfer and outdoorsman. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in Italy and a member of St. Monica Parish for 53 years.

Visitation at the ORTMANN STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Wed., Nov. 11 from 3-8 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Louis Abbey at St. Anselm Parish on Thurs., Nov. 12. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
