George Clark Lambert, born Jan. 1, 1923, Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away Feb. 26 in Reche Canyon, Colton, CA. Son of Eliza Avery Clark & George Cannon Lambert. Grew up in San Francisco where he went to Lowell HS, graduating with honors. He attended Cal Berkeley, then went onto Notre Dame studying chemical engineering and graduated from UCSF Med. School, class of 1947.

He was a veteran of the Air Force as a staff physician. He had an internal medicine private practice in Palo Alto along with his wife as a pediatric partner. He then worked as a flight surgeon for United Airlines for many years, afterwards becoming partner and assistant chief of Kaiser Permanente in Antioch, CA for 14 years.

He was preceded in death by his former wife and their son, George Clark Lambert, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Caroline Fox and son-in-law, William Fox; son, Chester R. Lambert and daughter-in-law, Erika Lambert; and five grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 2369 Overlook Dr. in Walnut Creek, CA. Interment immediately following at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma.
