Noted: Blanche's parents were Henry Eugene Woodward and Daisy Michael Woodward. In 1918, the Woodwards were living in Lyndon, Osage Co., KS; in 1920, the Woodwards resided in Agency, Osage Co., Kansas, same place & near the Ashcrafts. Mr. Woodward usually went by "Eugene". Her father was a farmer.


Alva T. "Ike" Ashcraft's death published in "The Ottawa(Kansas) Herald," on Saturday, April 17, 1954, p 2, column 4:

Relatives have received word of the sudden death from a heart attack last night of Alva Ashcraft, in Wilbur, Oregon. He had lived around Quenemo most of his life until recently.

Survivors include his wife, the former Nila Record of Ottawa; and two sisters, Mrs. C.E. Doty, 515 S. Maple and Mrs. A.E. Wards, Pomona. Mrs. Ralph Armstrong, 818 W. 6th is a niece.
