Mrs. Rebecca Croop was a lifelong resident of the Goshen community. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kercher, she married Samuel F. Croop in 1886. Mr. Croop died in 1935. She died on Friday, February 28th, 1941 at 11:00am at the Goshen hospital. Her only survivors were a son named Noble L. Croop who was a local pharmacist and one grandson, Forrest Croop Jr. of Warsaw. Her funeral was held On Sunday at 3:00pm at the Culp Funeral Home and she was interred at Violett Cemetery.
