Born in Elroy, she was one of eight children born to Vincent and Mary Ellen (Landis) Moyer. Lizzie was a homemaker and nurse whose last employment was Rockhill Mennonite Community. She was a member of Franconia Mennonite Church. Lizzie was a caring person who was always ready to help those in need.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty, wife of Paul F. Wismer of Telford; two grandchildren, Cynthia R. Rittenhouse and husband, Gary, and C. Scott Wismer; six great-grandchildren, S. Scott Wismer II, Jason Wismer, Brandyn Wismer, Amber Wismer, Nathan Rittenhouse and Joshua Rittenhouse; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esther Swartley, of Sellersville.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Allyse Elizabeth Rittenhouse; six sisters, Eva Nyce, Kathryn Moyer, Mary Ellen Anders, Maggie Willouer, Ada Alderfer and Marian Godshall; and an infant brother, Clarence.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 16 from 1:30 to 2:30PM at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, (Franconia twp.); funeral service will begin at 2:30PM.
