Ruby Delcena Huskey, 90, of Centralia entered into rest Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Stuart House in Centralia. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Grandview Baptist Church, 8500 N. Route Z in Centralia, with the Rev. James Smith, pastor at Grandview Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time Saturday at the church. She was born July 4, 1921, in Poplar Bluff, the daughter of John A. Logan and Pearl Knier Temple. She married Leonard L. Huskey on July 27, 1945, in St. Louis, and he survives. Since 1947, Mrs. Huskey has been an active member of Grandview Baptist Church in Centralia, where she served as a Sunday school director, Sunday school teacher and organizer of the prayer tree. She was a tailor, employed at Harry Smith's Menswear in Columbia, and volunteered for the Red Cross, serving at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Other survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Lorene Hughes and husband Donald of Centralia; a son, Kenneth L. Huskey, and wife Janie M. of Centralia; four grandchildren, Julee Carlos and husband Chris of Columbia, Debbie Hendren and husband Mike of Madison, Chris Huskey and wife Stephanie of Columbia and Brad Huskey and wife Michelle of Joplin; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Temple and wife Pat of Dittmer. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Sam Temple, Henry Temple, John Temple and Floyd Temple; and two sisters, Lora Hager and Leona Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Carlos and Larry Jones. Pallbearers will be Craig Shoemate, Shane Shoemate, Christopher Huskey, Brad Huskey, John Temple and Mike Hendren
