Mrs. Pinkerton’s Funeral. The funeral of Mrs. Joan Carfrae Pinkerton, wife of the late Allan Pinkerton, took place yesterday afternoon from the house of her son-in-law, William J. Chalmers, No. 232 Ashland Avenue. The house was crowded with friends and relatives of the deceased woman. Dr. Thomas and Withrow officiated and the Third Presbyterian Church choir sang. The pall-bearers were John Muir, F. Warner, J.G. Horan, John Alston, E.E. Morris, Samuel Bridgeman, J.H.Cleary, and Hugh Templeton. The remains were interred in Granceland.
