Mr. Lester Sizemore
was born December 05, 1936 in Clay County, KY to the union of the late Sam Sizemore and the late Flora S. Sizemore. Lester departed this life peacefully on Thursday, March 08, 2012 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. He was 75 years, 03 months and 03 days of age and was residing at 38 Violet Lane, Stinnett, KY at the time of his passing. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife Helen (Collett) Sizemore on September 30, 1959. By occupation Lester was a Dozer Operator in the coal industry. Lester was a United States Veteran, proudly serving in the Army. Lester was also a member of the Hyden Baptist Church.


Lester is preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Denver Sizemore; infant sister: Alma; one son: Lester Allen Sizemore.


Mr. Lester Sizemore leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving and devoted wife: Helen Collett Sizemore of Stinnett, KY; Two sons: Johnny Sizemore and wife, Asonia of Stinnett, KY and Craig Sizemore and wife, Hazel of Bear Branch, KY; Three brothers: Thomas Sizemore of Corbin, KY, Bobby Sizemore and wife, Elaine of Beverly, KY and James Sizemore and wife, Carol of Roark, KY; Four sisters: Dora Lane of Palmyra, IN, Lovella Collett and husband, Clifford of New Albany, IN, Helen Lockman and husband, Chuck of New Albany, IN and Polly Warren of VA; Seven grandchildren: Jonathan Allen Sizemore and wife, Melinda, Misty Wells and husband, Jamie, Megan Sizemore, Jacob Sizemore, Dawson Craig Sizemore, Landon Garrett Sizemore and Linsey Collett; Two great grandchildren: Brody Wells and Waylon Sizemore. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
