85, late of New Lenox, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Fairview Care Center, Joliet.
Survived by her loving family; children Paula (Edward) Winke and James S. Smoot; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister Pauline (Witt); sisters-in-law Della Oaks and Florine Oaks; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband James H. Smoot; brothers Roy and Franklin Oaks.
Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox on Friday, April 23, 2010 from 4:00 8:00PM. Funeral Services on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 10:00AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment Skyline Memorial Park, Monee.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Lincolnway Christian Church would be appreciated.
