Peggy A. Cree, 74, of Jennie Lane, Warren, formerly of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in John and Orpha Blair Hospice House.

She was born April 30, 1937, in Mapletown, daughter of Elizabeth P. Cowell Rogan and the late Andrew Rogan.

Mrs. Cree was a graduate of Mapletown High School and a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a deacon and sang in the choir.

She enjoyed ceramics, reading, decoupage, sewing, traveling and especially her family.

Surviving are her husband, Paul A. Cree, whom she married November 7, 1959; a daughter, Patsy Cree of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, Paul A. Cree of Warren; brothers Bill Rogan and wife Germaine of Fresno, Calif., and Ronald Rogan and wife Cathy of East Liverpool, Ohio; and nieces and a nephew.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until noon, the time of services, Saturday, March 24, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, with the Rev. Ellie Johns-Kelley of First Presbyterian of Warren officiating.

Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.

A memorial service also will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, in First Presbyterian Church, 300 Market Street, Warren.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Warren County, Two Crescent Park, Warren, PA 16365. Information available at www.milliken-throckmortonfh.com.
