Conductor and Violinist. Riesenfeld was educated at the Conservatory of Music in Vienna. From 1917 to 1925 he was the Director of Three of New York's Leading Motion Picture Theatres: The Rivoli, Rialto and The Criterion Theatres. In 1937 Riesenfeld earned an Academy Award nomination for music "Make A Wish."
